W0ECC/N0AX

Many MVDX/CC club members worked a 2-callsign multi-multi op from Ward’s
contest station W0ECC near Steelville, in the 2025 IARU HF contest.

Club members Ward – N0AJ, Matt – W0MJ, and Mike – WB0SND participated along with other area hams. They used 2-callsigns, W0ECC (their club call), and N0AX (Ward’s personal call).  It must have been a real balancing act since the IARU contest includes both CW and SSB, so they needed to manage operators, callsigns, bands and modes. Club member, Eric – W0TT operated all CW from his home QTH, and was fortunate to work both W0ECC and N0AX.  (see their attractive QSL cards).  QSOs from these (short-skip) distances are sometimes difficult to achieve when propagation is favoring long-skip at greater distances.
